On Friday evening my wife and two friends went to the Far East Bistro in Short Pump for dinner. It was a wonderful eating experience. The service was excellent and the food was perfectly prepared. This will be our new favorite Asian Style Restaurant.

After reading several reviews, my husband and I decided to take our three young daughters and try Far East Bistro.

Oh my! The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. The food was - without a doubt - some of the best asian cuisine that I have ever had. Plus, it is kid friendly! The owners and waitstaff were wonderful!

When we got there, our waitress brought over a basket of crispy noodles with a sweet/sour dipping sauce to munch on while we made our drink and meal decisions.

My girls got Shirley Temples, I got a soft drink, and my husband a Long Island Iced Tea.

We started our meal with Chicken Corn soup and vegetable spring rolls. The soup was rich and fabulous. The spring rolls had a nice spice and they were extra crispy.

My husband order General Tso's Fish. I order Szechuan Chicken. My girls ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. We chose friend rice with our meal. All three meals were incredible.

We finished our meal with friend bananas with chocolate sauce. These little bites were absolutely decadent!

Seriously, this was the best asian cuisine I have had!

My advice is to go, try it, and then tell everyone you know about it. You will not be sorry!

I have also been to the Far East Bistro many times with my wife, family and friends and echo what you have commented on about the restaurant. We have gotten to know the owners very well and think highly of them. I have eaten in Asian restaurants all over the country and have not found one any better. We have encouraged everyone we know to support this fine establishment because we need this quality of restaurant at Short Pump. You will not fine better owners any where. Their chef is from Hong Kong and prepares his dishes as well as I have eaten and the presentation is always the best. If you put all of the components together that make a nice eating establishment, this is it. Please encourage all that read your articles to support them so that this fine restaurant will not be lost to our area. Steve
